NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CITY ORDINANCE 2016-05 The Mayor and Council for the City of Frostburg will conduct a Public Hearing during their monthly meeting on Thursday, December 15, 2016, for the purpose of receiving public comment on ORDINANCE 2016-05: AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CITY CODE OF FROSTBURG TO PROVIDE FOR THE PROHIBITION OF DRILLING FOR AND EXTRACTING NATURAL GAS AND OIL ON LANDS OWNED BY THE CITY OF FROSTBURG, THE PROHIBITION OF THE SALE OF BULK WATER FOR THOSE PURPOSES AND RELATED MATTERS. The Ordinance was introduced before the Mayor and Council on November 17, 2016. The Public Hearing will be held at the Frostburg Community Center, 2 S. Water Street at 7:00 p.m. Copies of the Ordinance are available at City Hall and on the Citys Web Site at www.frostburgcity.com Questions should be directed to the City Administrator at 301-689-6000, Ext. 101.
